Gigi is an Italian-based director, author and screenwriter. Over the years, he has curated the image of important national and international clients and has written and directed award-winning short films like “Radiopanico”, based on a story by Carlo Lucarelli, and “Scirocco”, produced by Discovery UK. Some of Gigi’s most significant collaborations include the Pilot episode of the TV series “Daily Nightmares” produced by Fox Crime with the Forensic Psychiatrist Marco Lagazzi, and the realization of the short film “Sicilia” with the great Michelangelo Antonioni. Also his theatre production “Flebowsky, storie di ordinaria corsia” was sold out in many Off Theatres in Italy. Gigi’s strength lies in his ability to transform ordinary stories into something special, thanks to his particular eye for casting and for his way of constructing comedy in an original and unconventional way. His work has been greatly recognized over the years and he received numerous awards including 5 Bronze Lions, 1 Silver Lion and was shortlisted several times at the Cannes Film Festival.
